There are multiple ways of closing license plates.
Automatic closing
In Master Data > Activity Types > Mobile Device, you can turn on the setting Automatically Close LPs for individual activity types.
If the setting is turned on, license plates will be closed automatically when the assignment is finalized in the scanner.
Manual closing
If the setting is turned off, the license plates will remain open until the user closes them manually.
When an assignment is finalized and there are license plates in the tab Packaging, a message will be shown that these license plates must be closed.
Manual closing can be done in your assignment on the scanner via the tab Packaging > LP Configuration > Close.
Note that you can reopen license plates that have been closed by clicking Reopen.
NB: If the automatic closing setting is turned on, it is still possible to close license plates manually.
